I am a serial entrepreneur; hardwired to create new and innovative opportunities. I define myself as a mother of successful adult children and partner to an equally driven man, but I am also defined by a dogged determination to build. I have built a successful career as an educator and leader, founder of two charter high schools and professor of organizational leadership. I have been the president of a global sports company and CEO of a technology integrator and most recently, a marina owner, short-term rental entrepreneur and hiring extraordinaire. As a catalyst to success in a variety of arenas, I have used these skills and experiences to reinvent myself more times than I can count. The common theme of my life is “my life work must be a way of life, not a job”. I function best when I can relate my talents and journey to projects that elevate others to their highest potential. I do my best writing when there is a problem to be solved through formulaic and focused design. As a writer I consider myself a builder, architect and best friend that enables my readers to reinvent themselves as visionaries equipped with the weapons of inspiration, knowledge and efficiency that will win any battle. In the end, a goal reached without outperforming your competition is hollow at best.

A passionate and experienced educational leader, teacher, adjunct professor, K-12 administrator, charter school advocate and charter school leader who has built two charter high schools from the ground up.
Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment to education and a deep understanding of effective teaching and learning practices. As an educator, I have honed my skills in classroom management, curriculum development, and student engagement and I have a proven track record of helping students achieve their full potential.
In addition to my work as a teacher, I have also served as an adjunct professor, where I have taught courses on educational leadership, curriculum development and teacher preparation. I have almost 2 decades of K-12 administration, where I was responsible for overseeing the operations of multiple schools and ensuring that they followed state and federal regulations.
As a charter school advocate and charter school leader, I have the unique experience of building two charter high schools from the ground up, which has provided me with a multifaceted perspective on the challenges and opportunities that come with creating a successful educational institution. I am committed to advocating for charter schools and schools of choice while ensuring that all students have access to high-quality education.

When it comes to baking and cooking, I aim to be a culinary artist whose creations are not only delicious, but are also beautifully presented. From cakes and cupcakes to bread and pies, I have a knack for turning simple ingredients into mouth-watering masterpieces.
In addition to my culinary skills, I am an avid chicken enthusiast. Raising chickens has taught me the importance of sustainable living and has deepened my appreciation for nature and the garden. As a talented designer and decorator, I have an eye for color, texture and style and can transform any space into a beautiful and inviting environment.
